When you register as a donor, we collect: your name, age, weight, blood group, contact phone number, WhatsApp number, location (district/upazila or city/country), and optionally your email address. We do not collect sensitive medical records beyond a self-declared health confirmation.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to display you as a donor to people searching for blood matching your blood group and location. Your contact number is shown so that people in genuine need can reach you directly.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your donor profile is publicly visible within the app and website search results, by design, so that people needing blood can contact you.

4. Fraud Reports & Reviews

Users may submit fraud reports or reviews associated with a phone number to help maintain trust within the community. These reports are publicly visible to warn other users.

5. Data Security

We use Google Firebase as our backend provider, which implements industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your donor profile at any time through the app's Settings page or by contacting us directly.

7. Children's Privacy

DonorNest is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age, as blood donation eligibility requires a minimum age of 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of DonorNest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
